Entrance Examination
The entrance examination for the BArch and MArch programmes at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna consists of submitting a portfolio, of working on given assignments related to architecture, and of a hearing in front of the application committee. The application committee will select the applicants and will also grade each of the three parts of the admission examination. The portfolio should effectively demonstrate the applicant´s interest in architecture, including the following contents:
– Drawings, sketches, plans, photos, scripts, etc. which are related to architecture
– Free artistic works as drawings, sketches, art design, photos of sculptures, etc.
