This site is dominated by two bridges that cross over it. The bridges act like devices to measure the islands uneven features: the horizontality emphasises the undefined landscape that passes underneath them. By drawing incrementally section cuts from bridge to bridges, the subtlety of ground changes can be recorded and modified.

A slight adjustment of the topography could turn a desolate space between the bridges into a someplace, a useable connection, activated into a looping articulated path, with an intentional relationship with the bridges. New activities can be programmed into the looping path according to speed and type of movement, i.e., bikers, skaters, and also for pedestrians. The new park also incorporates landscaping and seating into its contours.
