A key element in the AKH is the hospital bed, its geometry and mobility determines the dimensioning and sequencing of the medical spaces - and in the case of this animation the performance of the camera.

The precarious experience of a hospital stay is characterized by a loss of autonomy and privacy, the patient has to subordinate to the rhythm and function of the hospital organism. Just like a patient the camera in this animation is bind to the hospital bed, whereas the focus, the camera target in the scene, is travelling through space - a process describing the perception of geometry and changing light condition in a patient’s room.
